That guy's posts were hilarious. I would love to see a guy in a modified electric vehicle, with boots to climb walls, an asp taped to his leg, trauma plates to withstand sniper attacks from a .338 and yelling at emo kids to quit loitering in the food court.

This made me rofl from the posted link:

Quote:
I am writing a proposal to replace our current Mossberg/Smith armament with the following:
  • 3) MP5K-PDW with red-dot sights;
  • 2) G36 rifles using SS109 rounds;
  • 3) Glock practical tacticles in .357 Sig
  • 1) PSG-1 using Fed Gold Medal .308
  • 1) Starlight scope for the PSG-1 in case we lose power in the building.
  • 3) Glock 27 backup guns
  • 3) Kahr P-9 holdouts
I think this would make us capable of facing nearly any situation. I’ll let you know what the management says!!!
lmao

Of course no one on this forum does any of the above mentioned things...do they??? LOL
You've just described someone I know very well. . . ME! LOL!

You're looking the famous Gunkid, a legend in his own mind. Not the same person as the original mall ninja Gecko45.

Google gunkid and you'll get a real laugh. This an actual real-life person.

I work with some Mall Ninjas. Man, they talk the talk. But when it comes time to walk the walk, to put up or shut up, like a good IDPA shoot. They just can't make time to go. They tell me how good they would be. And that it just isn't realistic. "NO ONE IS SHOOTING BACK AT YOU. THAT ISN'T REAL TRAINING." And they can't get that day off.... Blah Blah Blah.

Yet the rest of us, just don't know what we are talking about when it comes to gear and calibers. It was funny, talking to one in a gun shop one day, he is recommending stuff that I used when I didn't know better. He is tellling me how great the stuff is. YEP, I know some Mall Ninjas. But Hey, they look really tough and it sounds like they are some pretty tough guys to hear them talk.

Holy crap, I read like 2/3 of the link ( http://lonelymachines.org/mall-ninjas/ )and couldn't go on... I wanted to burn my eyes out with a tazer. That's some funny stuff.

I think the true moral is "don't lie" ... if you're life isn't exciting or dazzling, don't try to play it up like it is, there's someone out there that's going to call you on it and you end up looking like an asshat.

I think at some point everyone I know has went through that phase. Usually around puberty you get into the mindset that you need to have "a story" to show how great you are... (which usually you aren't) By your late teens the gig is up and the word is out that you're just a clown.

it's the people that try to stick to the story that are unbelievably funny and put here for our entertainment.

Last I heard, Gunkid was back in prison.
I always enjoyed his "opinions".
