Default how much do you spend each year

Kind of curious as to how much of your recreation budget goes for hunting . For guns, clothing, supplies and licenses each year. do you plan on dedicating the same for this years deer season? Are you getting of tired of the game commisons BS and not seeing any deer?

Deer hunting is a small part of my budget for shooting. I spend about $150 for deer and large game.

The Game Commission has decimated deer in some areas.

It's my passion. I usually try to keep the hunting expenses under $1K per year. That usually means either a new gun or new gear. I seem to get about 2 years out of Goretex pants and boots. Jackets last about 4 years.

I am at about $900 for the year so far (new Mossy 935 Turkey and Win 64 .30-30). Got a great deal on the 64. At $200, I felt like I was stealing it. Still need to buy a new treestand. Mine was stolen last year.

Looks like I am going to break the budget this year!

I'm mostly collecting, and when I *do* shoot, it's being filmed for later use in motion pictures. So, my budget goes towards mostly period-correct guns, and some miscellaneous logisitics (cleaning solvent, patch worms for any new bore sizes, bullet molds, etc).

Low budget? I just dropped $600+ on the last musket I picked up. Either I have high tastes or poor vendor selection. I need to take a gander at your catalog.

The last 2 years I probably blew over 1 k each year. this year I should have all I need . Unless of course I come across a deal that I can't refuse.
