I bought one and after two range trips, I removed the rear sight. I bought the Mossberg factory ghost ring kit and installed the rear. I have not found a gun smith to solder on the front piece, so I am actually using the front sight on the heat shield. It is the same height as the front sight that came with my kit.

This is just my experience, so take it as you will, I just don't want you to think that the ATI ghost ring shield is a $25 solution to $65 sights, it's not.
This is why I love this site.

Thanks for the imput. I will put the heatshield on hold. A good set of sites rate higer than the heat shield. And I thought the one with the sites on it, would do double duty.

Anyone got any suggestions for a good site for shotguns. Hmmm I think I smell another thread starting.

It's just the factory stock from Mossberg (do they use Knox??).

The best thing about the 6-position stock on Mr. Boomy is that my wife can easily adjust the stock to a comfortable length for her. Me? I mostly like the fact that the stock makes it look more evil .

I haven't shot one yet. But the KNOX stocks are suppose to make a shotgun a pussy cat to shoot. Check out the webpage if you haven't seen one. They shoot 12 gauges with one hand. Impressive. A bit more expensive. but you can get the adjustability of the collaspable stock and recoil reduction too. I am getting one for my new toy soon.
I think someone is bringing a shotgun with this stock to the shoot Sunday if your going to be there.

Got two more additions to for my shotgun. A mount to hold a light that Scoutjoe sent me to try and told me to just keep. Thank you.

And a AR style adjustable stock I bought off of Rich E. I am waiting for it to arrive.

Next pay I think I order a heat shield.

Next will be the ghost rings I think. Now, who was I talking to about them......

I'll update the pics once I get all of it on. I know that emptymag is dying to see more shotgun porn.
