This conversation is pointless, because I'm talking to the expert when it comes to crossbows. The things you wrote were wrong and you won't even admit to it. If you knew anything about the Excal, you would know how easy it is to cock them.
Of course a 200lb or 225lb crossbow is going to be harder to cock compared to your 150lb CB. Have a "fair" comparision and people might actually believe what you write.
That would be like comparing a .223 to a .308 and saying that the recoil from the .308 is more. DUH

Unless they have improved their trigger/latch system it will probably have a poor trigger pull and the bottom release claws do nothing to promote accuracy. I've owned Horton compounds and they were not that great.

Sure the Horton will take game, but if you want the best...buy a Ten Point or Excal crossbow. With all equipment, you will find both ends of the spectrum. You will have the best products and the worst products. We as consumers must decide what we end up buying.
If I took Bear Titan's logic, I'd try to compare a Lorcin to an Ed Brown custom. Nuff said.
