How do YOU make KNOWN the PAFOA (i.e. word of mouth,stickers,bus.cards,t-shirts,etc)?

Since we love and believe in the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association, we should also PROMOTE IT! How do you make the PAFOA known? Or how can we make certain individuals aware of this fairly new association that has the considerable potential to one day be great?

As for me, I mention the PAFOA to people I meet at the range or at gun shops. I also advertise by using the PAFOA stickers and passing out the PAFOA business cards. When I get my t-shirt I will wear it when I'm out and about as much as possible, but I can't wear it to church!

When I go to gun shows I will be passing out business cards and stickers until I run out, and I will try to refresh my supply as soon as possible. I will also make it a point to wear my t-shirt to gun shows if it's clean and doesn't have food stains on it, he he he.

Word of mouth, mostly. Shirt when I wear it, and any friends who are interested and not terrified of my gun hobby are given the website.

I told alot of people that I know who shoot, I also wear my t-shirt which I have on right now, And when ever I get the chance I tell anyone who I see shooting or at the gun shop.

I have a pafoa sticker on my range box.

I've had forum members join the club and club members have joined the forum! It's a win/win situation!

I mention the forum to anyone I meet who is a believer in the second amendment.

Oh, and my "no guns" poster(seen above)is now visible on THR forum because a member posted there with a link to where it can be seen on our forum.

This is an idea,

If we have PAFOA authorized business cards that we can print out, then we can do like I do already. When ever I go out to eat or to any place where I leave a tip, I also leave a business card for our Civil War Re-enacting unit. Granted most probably get thrown away, but that is the cost of advertising. If we have a card I would be more then happy to print out what I need and leave them with the tip. I have recruited new members for our unit this way, so I know it does work. If we don't have a official card I guess I will have to make one up for myself.

Anyone have any other suggestions? Any way we can promote PAFOA is good.

I distribute stickers at the gun shows and have a link to it on my website.

A board like this is a true grassroots organization. It will grow best when through word of mouth, forwarding the link to friends and mentioning it on other boards. If you post on other boards - gun related or not - include a link to it in your signature line.

Hey crazyyankee, there is an official PAFOA business card, danp gave me 10 of them already.

If you ask danp for some business cards I'm sure that he will give you some.

Mostly word of mouth at the shootin range, I also put up a brief description and the website URL on the bulletin board at 2 local gun shops and my barber shop. The owner is very pro-huntin and pro-gun and said he gets lots of folks checking the board out.
