Are kits still around for saiga 7.62x39 conversions?

for coversion to 22LR ceiner sells them for the ak , check with them to make sure it fits your model

you need to be more specific on "conversions".

to 22, yeah.
to ditch the wierd stocks and go to sort of regular AK look, or folding stock, yes.
to go to full auto, not for civilians, no.

so, what "conversion" are you looking for?

not going to happen legally unless your a manufacturer, which i'm guessing your not since you don't know about where to find the parts.

86' ban put a stop to the manufacturing (IIRC, someone more knowledgeble can correct me on that)

correct, no further MFG of machineguns of any type for civilains since the FOPA was passed in 1986.

Post 1986 MGs are for Military/Gov/LE use only, and are issued by those agencies.

so, the only way you can legally convert an AK these days is if you are a licensed C2 manufacturer basically.


sorry, no "conversions" are legal for civvies, unless you are a SOT.

I'm gonna lock this now, question answered.
