Default asked to leave

I was cc but I need to vent.

I was out riding the nija and met some friends in New Hope. I went into Frans bar on main street and a guy there who knows I carry and was wasted said somethin to the owner. The owner came over to me and very politley asked if I had a gun. I replied that I did and showed him my carry permit. He said that he wanted me to leave, very nicely, I replied no problem and asked him why. Because it s a bar was his answer. I was drinking coke. I think its funny for the simple fact that everytime I go there, there is always a fight. But I guess if you get two people shitfaced and they kick the crap out of each other its ok and sitting peacefully with a firearm is not. I guess I wont be giving them my hard earned money anymore but the part that pisses me off is the fact that the bar owner is a foreigner, Italian I think. I guess he was ok when the nazis took his country mens firearms and raped there women and murdered there brothers after they withdrew from the war.

It says something about the kind of bar the guy runs if there are always fights. There are more than enough places that you can spend your money.

If you know there is always a fight there , it would seem you would not want to take a weapon there to add to the mix . If I knew there was always a fight there , that would be the last place I would go , armed or not .

i was asked to leave papagallo's in muncy, yes it is a bar. but i was asked to leave by an ex of mine who just finished at one of those itt tech things. she is going to be a cop. she told the owner i was cc and that it is not allowed to be in a bar. i showed her a pamphlet and she still convinced the owner that i was misinformed and i had to leave. so i said goodbye and left.
oh and real kicker is that i was there for about 2 hours before my ex showed up. and the whole time i was actually oc. and nobody even noticed it till she said something.

I believe that my first response would have been to ask the owner if he asked ALL of his patrons if they were carrying. If he did not then I would have had to inquire as to why I was being singled out.

Take your money elsewhere. I would have left without showing him my LTCF.

New Hope and Lambertville used to be a great place to hang.. But now all the trendy gays and lesbians(And I have nothing but love for them) have made it a no bike haven. I never go there anymore. But you live closer than I do to it!!

You may want to have a discussion about your personal business with your the wasted guy who knew you to carry!! He's the one I have the problem with in this, not the property owner!!

Good job drinking Coke, while riding..

I would say something to the shmuck who was wasted but its not worth my time. The a-hole lives in Jersey. And I was looking for an excuse not to go in frans again anyway now I can tell my friends why. I never liked that bar. To many fuck or fight types. It only bothers me because I wasnt doing anything wrong like being loud drunk and obnoxious just sitting with some friends haveing a soda.

Last time I was in New Hope I went to this small "country" style bar on the main street for my 21st birthday around either Aug 9th or 16th , But I enjoyed myself there and I met a few really awesome people a lady and some guy never managed to remember their names but I like small bars like that. I still would have asked the bartender/owner whatever he was if he asked everyone if they were carrying, cause unless he saw the damn gun why single one person out. I was not carrying when I went like I had anywhere to put it small clothing doesnt hide stuff well your right that it has turned into more for gays and lesbians which is fine by me , I have some kickass friends who are. I saw alot of bikers when I went down , No one offered me a ride on his bike thou So I was sad , I still havent been on one yet ohh well
