Wink PROBLEM WITH BLACKHAWK SERPA HOLSTER AND GLOCK 22 WITH LASERMAX

If you are using a blackhawk serpa holster with a glock 22 and a lasermax laser, you may have a problem with the slightly longer length of the slide release bar that activates the laser. it seems to catch on the holster right behind the retention lever on the holster. mine is a glock 22, but i would think other models of glock with lasers would do the same thing. i took a small dremel tool and ground down the lip on the inside to a 45% angle and now the gun comes out smooth with no resistance. just passing on the information in case anyone else is experencing this problem. i have contacted blackhawk and they are looking at my problem.

Default Re: BLACKHAWK SERPA HOLSTER AND GLOCK 22 WITH LASERMAX

I have the same problem with my Glock 26. I tried grinding a slot for the slide lock and I still couldn't get it to work. You stated you ground down the lip to a 45% angle but my problem is not only that I can't get the gun out but also that the laser turns on when the pistol is inserted into the holster.
Can you give me more details on what you did?
Thanks.
