gun shortage per Colisimos

Interesting piece on KYW news this AM featuring the owner of Colisimos, Spring Garden Street, in reference to the high level of firearm sales and shortages. Colisimos stated that he has not been able to get a Ruger delivered to his store in the last few months.

First, I found that statement to be strange considering the fact that he is a Ruger Distributor or at least was in the recent past. I like Rugers as much as anyone, but what one of their models are selling so well that a recent distributor can't get his hands on one? You are hardly talking about Springfield, Glock, or Smith and Wesson MPs. I realize Ruger recently came out with a ultra compact on the lines with Kel-Tec.

I was told the same basic thing from a local Glock dealer.

"I used to be able to call them up and get what I wanted. Now can't get anything. I've never seen anything like it."

I would imagine he's talking about the Ruger LCP.

if you want an LCP The Firing Line always seems to have them.
