My 45-70 heavy load in the No. 3 also chronos about 2150. It kicks more that my .338.

My Ruger #1 Tropical in .416 Rigby. Kicks like a mule. Inaccurate as hell. But thats typical of Ruger. Bill T.

Ruger...this is my opinion after owning 4 of them.. Do not like them at all. All were not as accurate as I thought they should. It really upset me when they went to the 3 position safety on the bolt. Just loved that tang saftey... As for the #1 just seemed in-expensively made... I like my 1885 Browning much better. (hammer) I do not wish to start a debate. just my opinion..... You can voice yours too...

I'm done with Ruger rifles as well. I also have 4 of them and they are simply far too inaccurate for what they charge. They are well made, just inaccurate. Bill T.
