Default Expungement! Now what?

On 6 Feb. 09, had record expunged, the charge (M1) gambling charge for video poker machine twenty some years ago.

My question is how long must I wait to get permit to carry or buy more firearms? Thank You:

Did they give you a letter or something saying this? I don't know if you would need to wait at all.

If you have your expungment records then why wait?
If you are denied a purchase then file the appeal and send copies of the paperwork in and the denial will be overturned and you will get a nice letter that you'll keep and every time they run PICS you give them the letter and it goes through.
Same with your LTCF

Yes copy of judges order. Will this clear the PSP very quickly? If they turn you down I understand you must wait six months or a year to reapply.

It's absurd to me that this kind of crime is sufficient to revoke someone's second amendment rights in the first place.

I think most of us will agree that it's reasonable to limit the gun rights, temporarily or permanently, of certain classes of criminal offender... but a gambling charge?

if you are denied purchase, you simply fill out a Challenge form and include copies of the Judges order and it should be approved. they have to issue an answer within 15 days IIRC. after that you should be issued a paper stating that you are eligable to purchase firearms and will need to produce said paper everytime you go to purchase a firearm.

I would go to a shop. Pick one out. If there is no issue then apply for the LTCF. You want a gun anyway.
