Quite rare for it to be OK for an officer to use a system like that for his own gain is all i'm trying to say. |

Last Note...i am not trying to get in a pissing contest with you XD45 but i dont see what he was gaining other than chasing a passion that all of us in PAFOA share...GUNS. If you had a registry like that would you use it? I think you would.

yeah i didn't come in to this to start any pissing contest, just figured i'd toss in its usually atleast against policy to use those systems for anything but official use, and personal satisfaction could be a gain even if it isn't money in the bank, IMO of course. I do take offense to the bolded remark, in some cases that could be illegal and I can for 110% certainty I would not do that. |

I apoligize i did not intentionally BOLD that sentence.

No surprise. Any organization that has anything about you will use it for whatever they want. Sometimes for personal interest, sometimes to harm you. They want it for one reason but they end up using it for every reason they said they wouldn't.

Some Sheriffs have revoked LTCFs for reasons outside the law in order to satisfy a personal agenda - because "they could." They know that the burden to undo their action is great, and most won't (or can't) make the effort. It's a shame that you're so willing to willfully violate the law when it works in your favor, just because "you can." An attitude like that is certainly no benefit to this community, whether you call yourself "pro-gun" or not.

If it really matters, I think the OP made the whole thing up. Does anyone here have a pistol that they bought 50 years ago? If so, do you remember filling out the PSP Form when you bought it?
