How did you get into guns and what was your first gun

I did not grow up near any firearms, my first exposure to them was video games. But what got me really interested were my own studies of WWII, I wanted to not just read about it, but experience it in a way. So for my 18th birthday, I convinced my mom to buy me a Mosin Nagant. I was a horrible shot, but its been 3 years and I have taught my self a lot. (I'll often out knowledge some of my military/police friends) Now I am the go-to guy when any of my buddies need firearm info or firearm legal info( Thanks to PAFOA of course!)

it was easy for me to get in to guns i grew up on a farm hunting and such.
my first real gun was a savage 30.30 pump that i still have to this day.

Savage 24C was my first its an over/under .22/20 Gauge, man that was cool had a compartment at the bottom to hold a few shotgun shells and about 18-20 .22's still have it i was about 4-5 when i got it. i remember this one time i went to a pond somewhere and shot with a guy i knew with my dad telling us how to load it and shoot it and safety measures of course. then later around id say 11 or so he got me a .243 remington 700 youth with a little leupold scope on it still have that too. then later around 14 he got me a 7mm-08 Remington 700, and i bought a Ruger Mark III standard in which i then sold for 200 bucks and put another 200 bucks down and bought my Ruger Mark III 22/45 Hunter which i still have...and thats how i got started. just love guns like they were all my brothers. im having a hard time letting my dad sell 1 or 2 of his guns when somebody asks if he'd sell it. there all like a part of me.

My first gun was an Armscor Youth .22 w/ 10 round mag (FREAKING AWESOME at the time, since most youth models were single shot). Then, after years of not being into guns, my dad got me a P22 for my Bday. Then he was jealous of it, and got a .45. I made the jump from .22 to .45.

Then we started dueling eachother. I got a USP. He got a .375. I got another USP. Then another. Then a Beretta 92FS/S. And on and on. And I think I have all of you to blame for egging me on. .......but it looks like I beat him. :P
