That video isn;t accurate. Most gunfights are over in 5-6 shots. there's NO WAY that could happen.

I was joking. Most people don't carry extra ammo because they think there's that "magic number" of rounds that will be fired in a fight.

Because the media often messes things up. I've had to correct them so many times at work so they wouldn't look like idiots. 44 magnum Glocks and such. "Sharpshooter rifle" sounds better to the media than "assault rifle", when it's a good guy taking out a bad guy. Assault rifle is the media term for what the enemy uses.

(I also posted this on the video)

I remember way back when this story was new - there was a guy CCW'ing who interfered and tried to stop the shooter, IIRC he saved the kids life by distracting him for a few minutes. The guy was wearing body armor and the COM shots didn't get through.

The CCW guy got killed. Nice for the news to leave him out.

You beat me to the punch. It's sickening that the CCW'er has been PREDICTABLY erased from the story.

The CCW's name was Mark Allen Wilson, and there's a Wikipedia entry about him here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Allen_Wilson
