2 Gun Shows 1/31/09, 2/1 Schnecksville FC, Allentown Days Inn.

Hi everyone,
There are two gunshows this weekend Saturday 1/31 and Sunday 2/1. I believe they are close by each other. One is in Schnecksville at the Schnecksville Fire Company and the other is at the Allentown, Days Inn Conference center on Rt 22 and Rt 309. I haven't been to either in quite a long time and I am not sure how good they are.
If anyone is going or have been to either please chime in with any information. I would be happy to meet up with any members that may be going. I have attached a link for a $1.00 off coupon for the one at the Days Inn. I could not find what they charge at the door to get into this one.
I can email links for the promoters where more information and detailed directions can be found if anyone would like more info.

Depends upon what you're trying to obtain.

This particular Eagle Arms show at the Days Inn is being billed as all 250 tables in use, so it's about as big a local show as you'll see.

There are occasional good deals on rifles, components and bulk ammo, and general all-around items of interest.

A lot of pistol dealers are usually there too.

But unless you're talking about used rifles and/or other miscellaneous related items (holsters, cases, etc.), there are not too many "WOW" type of bargains.

A lot of beef jerky and ShamWows too.

Hey thanks for the heads up. I may try to attend both shows. Go early to the Schnecksville and then try the Days Inn. thanks again.

ill be out of town for most of saturday but i intend to go to days inn show on sunday or first thing sat morning its a decent show the fire company one is small usually not the best but if your in the area its worth stoppping in at it its about 5 miles up 309 from days inn. maybe ill run into you at one proudcr thank you for the info didnt know the fire co. was having one this weekend

I'm just the opposite... that ShamWow pitchman on TV amuses me greatly with his asides, a la:

"If you order in the next 20 minutes... because we can't do this all day..."

"Made in Germany... you know the Germans make good stuff..."

"The liquid not only stains the carpet, but seeps through underneath... that's gonna smell..."

Ever since seeing those commercials I started worrying about a huge tanker ship filled with ShamWows en route to North America sinking and causing a precipitous decline in the world's ocean levels.
