The Colt Gold Cup was a new/used one.

What happened is that the owner bought it and then 2 weeks later returned it unfired to the gun store. He needed the money for something else.

Well, in I walk not looking for a Gold Cup but just happen to notice the price. This got me interested at $950.

After a few moments of talking price, I walk out of there with it for $800.

A year later, my son got a better deal. $750 for a NIB Colt Gold Cup Trophy just like mine. And this was at a gun show!
