Yes, at least 2. Both "trumpets" are as rare as an honest politician in PA.
One was a true .556 semi-FAMAS from St Ettiene(??), imported by Century or SAMCO, can't exactly recall...
Anyway, it was about $1K or a hair less, and there was supposedly less than 1,000 imported.
Ugly as sin in a kewl way of its own, and in the 80's - pricey as compared to Valmets, true Yugos, Galils, ARs, UZI carbines, Sterling carbines, and the buttload of cheap CHICOM AKMs.
Never did see one in person at any funshow, and I was but a poor humble KTD to "stock" one.
Last I read they were going for close to $8K if you can find someone willing to sell. (For ref, Sterlings would barely move for $750.00, now they are $2K+. You know the drill.)
The second Trumpet came from some Italian company with Yugo connections and they made very nice-looking .22LR replicas of EBRs.
They made an AR, AKM, Galil, FAMAS, and a PPS. They all looked reasonably good, but their Galil was the nicest of them in terms of looks.
Check this site out, scroll 1/2 down for a pic of the rimfire FAMAS...

These also almost never showed up at funshows, so never handled any from this company other than the PPS50 - in both blue and satin-nickel. Their PPS50s and AKMs were the target of many a pre-86 NFA conversion. Sigh...
