Question USGI 30CAL M2 Armor Piercing??

I just found a few boxes of this stuff that I forgot I had. It is in 20 round boxes and bears the headstamp: TW 42. What can I do with it? Is it safe to shoot at the range? Is it corrosive? Will it hurt my barrel? Does it have any value? Should I toss it? Thanks in advance for any and all input!

As for hurting your barrel, nah its still copper jacketed it just has a hardened steel core instead of lead. Most ranges prohibit the discharge of Incendiary, Tracer, Armor Piercing, or Explosive rounds. But atleast AP ammo doesnt have a visual cue like the other three types

If you dont want it, i'll take it off your hands (I'm being serious to boot)

If it's actual armor piercing stuff made in 1942, then it should have some collector value to it.

I wouldn't shoot it just to shoot it. I'd save it for a special armor piercing occassion!

The point of the bullet will have black laquer on it. Tracer, Incindiary and whatever else will have
different colors to ID them. '42 by any MFG definately corrosive.
