Default Had a blast at #43!

I spent 4 hours at the State Game Lands #43 range today. I met several fellas that I hope to shoot with again.

I was using my Anschutz Model 54 target rifle. Well.... It's actually my wife's. She shot it on the high school rifle team where we first met. I was gonna go buy my own rifle but she just told me to mount a scope on hers and have fun with it. So... I did!

I was shooting Federal bulk .22lr ammo at 100 yards. I think it did pretty well after I got the scope sighted. What do you think? The coin used for reference is a quarter.

I'm just curious... are those targets about 8 inches by 8 inches? Bigger? Smaller? I never know what size targets to buy for different distances. I know it depends on the rifle caliber being used, but let's just say for a .22 LR at 50 or 100 yards. What size targets would one use?

Is #43 French Creek? Are the 25 yards target boards back up?

not sure about rapid fire. i dont do and i doubt you can. i will if theres no one else there but out of common courtesy i dont if others are there (unless they dont care). but the load limit is 3 in the gun. most people dont follow it. i dont usually but as long as you dont rapid fire or shoot like a jack*** no one will bother you.

Any state owned range is 6 rounds max in a hand gun, 3 rounds max in a rifle, no full autos.
