I keep everything, never sold any yet, probably never will either. When I die they will get divided up between my three children.
I was in Texas and bought a K-31 from Big 5 sporting goods, my wife saw it and said I should get another so both sons will have one. The next day I went and got another one. When she saw it she asked why I got it. Of course I said because I didn't want one of the boys not to have one. I don't think she will give that advice again.

I was strictly a keeper until I got layed off a couple years ago. I had to sell four handguns to make ends meet.
I'm back on my way buying more guns, but at a slower pace.

i have only ever bought guns, never sold any.....i have gone through hard times and really thought about selling them, but its never gotten that bad where i had to sell them......when i have ever though about it i would always think of two things....first i got the guns becasue i wanted them so bad and i would never get the price i wanted for them and when i wanted to replace them i wouldnt have enough money to and second i would wonder who im selling it to and feel partly responcable if that person did something bad with my gun......
if i dont have enough money for a new gun i will just save up instead of giving up one of my guns to get it....i kinda wish i could part with some of mine but i just cant do it, ive gotten so used to them it would be like giving up a part of the family |

I keep em and shoot em. Still have my Savage 20 ga pump for small game from '72. Bought a Super Blackhawk from a guy in '75 for $50.00. Colt Targetsman for $35.00. My wife shoots the hell out of it. Gold Cup I've had since '78, .38 Agent (not my best move) early 80's. Then a 20 year dry spell til last year, S&W model 60 to carry. Then I got the bug. In the last 6 mos, 6" nickel Python (always wanted one) and most recently a sweet 6" Diamondback .22. And as pretty as they are, they're for shooting! My sons can divvy them up when I'm done with 'em.

Definitely a keeper. You can see in my signature what I have, not alot but I havent gotten rid of a thing yet, and plan on growing and growing. It will be a neat little handdown to my two sons when I get old and weak, and can't hold them up anymore.
