I'm a keeper but don't really have that many firearms. Just enough that the wife says I'm "over the edge".

Keeper here! I've only sold off 2, the first glock 19 & gun I ever owned to a friend, still working on getting it back even though I already replaced it and a Para Warthawg - it just didnt work for me. I plan on keeping everything else I get and It look like I will have a while left untill my expiration date; I hope!

I'm a keeper/hoarder, Just can't bring myself to do it. I have a modest collection of 8 hanguns and 6 long guns. I think that would need to a least triple before I let any go. They're all my chidren and I love them all for different reasons.
Yeah I'm a little strange too!

I have never sold, and will never sell a gun. That will be my wifes job when I take a dirt nap. I know far too many guys who are always buying, selling, and trading. Every single one of them complains about how they wish they never sold or traded this or that gun. I started back in 1972 when I was 19 years old. My first purchase was a Remington 1100 Trap Grade. It cost $342.00 back then, which was my whole income tax refund that year plus a little extra. I still have that gun, and it still looks like the day it came from the box. The day I turned 21 I bought a brand new Colt Gold Cup NRA Centennial for $225.00. I could never imagine parting with it. My guns are a part of me in the fact I can look at each one and it marks a certain part of my life. I can remember the day I bought it, as well as what was happening in my life at that time. That is too much to sell, or trade off. Bill T.

I used to buy, sell, and trade alot when I started shooting; I have settled down and have the majority of my collection settled on with 1 or two that might go bye-bye if I don't find long term uses for them
