Hey guys, I have a question about the Utah license, and I hope it's not too off topic, if so, I apologize.

Once you obtain your Utah license, what are the requirements for renewal? Do you have to take a refresher course every so often? I haven't really seen anyone talk about this part much, so I'm curious as I've been thinking about taking the course soon also.

Thanks.

No, class is a 1 time thing.
Renewal is $10, I think, could be $20.
Permit is for 5 Yrs

Hello fingers8002,

PM sent with details in case you have not yet contracted an instructor.
(If you have, apologies extended, enjoy the course )

Quick info:

-- standard class fee $75
-- PAFOA posters and PAFOA BRONZE members rate $65
-- PAFOA SILVER members and above $60
-- LEO's $50
-- ACSHA members $60

("non-member" PAFOA posters have to have a registration date on or before you began the thread to receive the discounted $65 rate; paid PAFOA members have no registration date requirement in order to receive the discounted $65 or $60 rate)

Fingerprinting fees, normally $13 per the state, are waived for sessions at ACSHA and for sizeable enough groups in general. Additionally, I make a donation to ACSHA for acting as the host site.
EDIT: please disregard above pricing structure, an alternate (and very good) Utah Instructor will be handling this session. Enjoy the course everyone

PAFOA approved vendor per Founder / President Dan Pehrson
