I don’t know how good it was out of the box but have read enough warnings that after I shot about 4 mags (without issue) it was sent off to Jack Fuselier for a full F & B. Better safe than sorry. He did a great job and $60 bought cheap piece of mind. So far the puppy has been flawless.

The Bersa pinky extensions makes a world of difference in reducing the sting.

You should read more

Seriously, there are tons of reports of NIB troubles. That said, also tons of reports of no trouble at all.

As posted, I too have read enough to invest in a full F&B and with almost 200 rounds flawlessly going Boom, I'm happy I did. BTW, about 50 of the 200 have been +P which I keep loaded when carrying.

Rocks are fun but if forced to I would bet on a +P .380 round - but that's just me, YMMV

Then he's right on the bleeding edge of gun fashion...pink (and other brightly colored guns) are no longer part of the fringe element. Click here, right column, near bottom. My 14 year old daughter's pondering a pink AR15 (don't ask). Her sister already has the red-white-blue 22 rifle.
