totally off topic, but prolly of interest to the OP, i saw a great documentary on the history channel about prince vlad dracula (aka "vlad the impaler" aka "count dracula").

here is a link to the DVD sold by the history channel, but i'm sure they will air it again for free:

http://store.aetv.com/html/product/index.jhtml?id=73195

(the write up for the DVD sounds all sensationalistic, but the actual show is a historical documentary, not sensationalistic...and actually goes quite in depth into the geo-politics, strategy, tactics, etc. of the time. it was a good show.)

QUITE FUN and QUITE A FEW.Good man even if he served under the Dictator Ceausescu.Lucky him and my father too, both are retired officers from the Romanian military, that they were retired when I defected.I swam across the Danube to Yugoslavia and didn't stop until I got to the American Embassy in Belgrade where I was granted Political Asylum. That was back in April,1988.December 1989 HELL BROKE LOOSE in Eastern Europe.Too bad I wasn't there to "pay" some people what I owed them. There was good, decent officers and some real SOB's that truly believed in that communism BS,and some of them are still running things there. It will take at least 50 years to re-built what the Russian Communist Doctrine destroyed in that neck of the woods.

The rifle is made by Red Jacket Firearms.Do you have any input on their work?I put a down payment of $200 for the rifle and it will take 6-8 weeks before I get it from Atlantic Firearms.

Kigy,

From what I've read Will is a really good builder, I personally I have not held/shot his work I only know what I read from guys who have posted over on the Saiga forum. Will is a member there.

Personally I think that you'll be happy with it
