Bill Ricca will become famous soon enough
Default Allentown Ag Hall Dec 6 & 7, 2008

We have Bill Guarnere of the band of brothers returning to sign autographs and discuss his WWII experiences.

No junk at this show, just guns, gun related, and historical military items.

Never been to this show. Does it focus mostly on historical stuff, or are there newer things available also? (I'd be looking for 7.62x39 ammo. a Saiga pistol grip stock, stuff like that.)

I went to the last one.

If the next one is set-up the same way, one-third of the hall is pretty much modern hand-guns and long-arms. I recognized some of the dealers from the area. Prices were pretty much gun show prices.

The other two-thirds (i.e. on the other side of the wall) is the historical stuff. And there is a TON of this stuff if that floats your boat.

How about we play a game where the PAFOAer who finds the most expensive WASR first, gets a gun-related prize, the cost of which is split among the participants?

Gun show prices where in force at least Saturday. Not many people selling modern rifles, mostly older WW2 and collectors firearms. I went looking for a Saiga 12, found 2 dealers selling. Only 1 had the 19" barrel and wanted $100 more then I was willing to pay. The other (Ed's Guns or something) had 2 Saiga 12's 24" barrels and was selling them abit cheaper but not for what I was willing to shell out. Lots of beat overpriced Yugo SKS rifles, and beat AK variants. One guy was walking around trying to sell a PSL for $900.. was calling it a Dragunov and I almost laughed in his face. Looks like I may have to hit the interwebz for my Saiga 12.
