PMSC Membership

A while back I got some info from BearTitan (who doesn't seem to be active around here that I can see) regarding membership at PMSC. Not long after, I was shipped away for work and never got to join. Now that I'm home on weekends again, I just wanted to make sure this information still applies; it's been so long since I've shot that I'm itching to get out.

I can't make the monthly meetings because of work, so I was planning on mailing everything in.

I was planning on including the following in my application pack:

-Completed application
-Photo
-Check for $111 ($100 for dues/initiation, $10 for card key, $1 for club key)

Is there anything else required? Two additional questions:

1. Are the certifications for indoor pistol range still happening every Thursday at 5:30?

2. Is my membership good for one year, or just until the end of 2008 at which point I'll renew for the $60?

Everything sounds right to me, but you may wish to check with our membership guy before sending the extra cash for keys/card just to be sure.

Yes, Thursdays are when the indoor range orientation is held.
Send a PM to SteveD, as he is the one who handles that.

Bear's been pretty busy with work. Says he doesn't get much time to get on forum any more.

What Emptymag says is good info.
You may have to get the keys from the caretaker once you get your membership card.

Not sure, but they may pro-rate december and/or nov. at $5/mo.
Still not a bad deal.

If I can somehow scrounge up the money, I was thinking about joining also in December but had a range question.

Did I see someone say that they have plate racks on the pistol ranges? That would be to cool.

Yep, two sets of 5 plates.

There's also a steel tree and a couple gongs on the pistol range too.

Be aware that this month's (that's December's) meeting is the second wed.
12/10/08 at 7 pm due to hunting season.

I just got my PMSC membership card in the mail on Friday(didn't know membership meeting was 2nd Wed. this month) and this may be a stupid question, but can I hit the range this week or do I actually have to wait until it's 2009.
