Try Kimberton Fish & Game Association. They are on Coldstream Road in Phoenixville. The meeting night is the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8 P.M. (610) 933-2240.

Re: any good ranges?
Here's a couple of indoor ranges. They're both about 20 minutes from you. No membership required.
- French Creek Outfitters in Phoenixville. Range cost is $12/hour.
- Targetmaster in Chadds Ford. Range is $15/hour.

Yes, walk past the gun counter and the range counter is around to the right. Of course, make sure your weapons are cased or holstered. I've found them to be a lot more "customer friendly" than Targetmaster, and their range officer is usually more attentive to what's going on.

Re: any good ranges?
Does French Creek Outfitters allow rifle calibers at their range?. If not, are there any (open to the public) ranges in the Elverson/Honeybrook area that allow rifle calibers?

Re: any good ranges?
I think so, but call to confirm. 610-933-7200. I've only shot .22, 9mm and .357 at FCO. They only allow brass-cased cartriidges.

I'm 99% sure French Creek will let you shoot .22's. I believe their limit is 2000fps, I know I shot 20 gauge slugs there.

Re: any good ranges?
This is not in Chester County, but Delaware County Field and Stream has Pistol, small bore (22 cal) rifle, large bore and black powder rifle ranges. All ranges have covered or enclosed stands. For shotgunners, table trap, 2 skeet ranges, 5 stand and 2 trap ranges. Also target and 3 D Field archery, and pellet rifle range. It's in Middletown Twp. (Media Area) about 30 min. south on Rt 353 from Rt 30. It is open year round, but all ranges are outdoors. Website, www.dcfs.org, is currently being renovated.
