Wow, I've never been to that range, and don't know this guy...but it sounds like he got what was coming to him. It's people like that that make the good gun owners look like bad guys.

I would not convict anyone based on what the ATF and some rag newspaper say... but that's just me.

Do I typically believe anything the ATF says? Based on their history?.. No.

Mr. Paranoid....relax Rich. I am saying it is highly unlikely that the transfer paperwork was made up by the ATF. Secondly, if the guy actually was a felon listing himself as the transfering agent, the he is STUPID. I never called YOU stupid.

I'm relaxed, just trying to prod you a bit (you should know better by now)
I do doubt the transfer paperwork accuracy the same as I would not trust anything the ATF touches. Just the way it is given their history.
Even if the paperwork is not altered or reported about incorrectly, I do not understand how the employer is responsible. Actually, the article makes no sense, if thy were filling out 4473's then they were an FFL. If he was prohibited, how did he have an FFL? Who was the FFL holder?
None of this adds up. WIth the ATF and newspaper involved, I don't wonder why

If this article turns out to be correct and accurate I certaily hope he gets it bad. I hate seeing where "gun folk" screw it up like that.
