I loved being a short-timer.... I know I couldn't wait to get home and back to the woods... but that was about 23 years ago...dang I'm getting old...LOL I know it will be a good day when you are back home in the "land of high taxes" I'm also sure there will be some groundhogs....

ETS, my 3yrs and 4months are up (short timer) lol
I'm an infantry guy and they stick me in an office. I swear how stupid are they.... I've been dieing to go on some ruck marches and at least have some training to keep me busy. I dont know what I'm going to do when I get home. A lot of the stuff I liked to do here not too many people do back in my neck of the woods.
