Following the thread of BerksCountyDave on the best AR trigger... what have you found to be the best pistol grip for an AR-15? Houge, Ergo, Magpull, etc?? Thanks!

My favorites are:
Magpul MIAD
Tango down battle grip
Ergo
And if you can find one, HK makes a battle grip for their HK416 (AR platform).
Awesome feeling grip (my buddie one, and it is great). I have to get one.
Here is a pic.

There is no "best"

your rifles role and your pers pref's are what decides what is best for you.

I like the simple hogue grip myself.

I am very very very very very very happy with my Ergo Sure Grip. Solid fit, and the beaver tail extension that matches the contour of the web between the trigger finger and the thumb is oh so comfy.

Yeah, this is like asking "What's better, blondes, brunettes, or redheads?"

I use whatever works for that particular rifle; probably five or six different grips on a dozen ARs.

Regards,

Walt

I use the Magpul MIAD and I like it. If I were to do it all over again, I might give the one from CAA a try. The reason I like the MIAD is that it has options. You can swap pieces to make a number of combinations. The CAA one also has some interchangability so I'd put both in the same category. I was never a fan of the tango down battle grip... I guess the name is catchy... other than that, it offers the same features as a regular "standard" grip.
