Default Special at Cabela's

Went to cabelas last night. If you sign up for a credit card you recieve 15$ off your purchase have a spouse also sign up and get 30$ off. Then you also recieve instant savings on your purchase of 100$ or more if you use the account. Bottom line is if you buy a 500 dollar gun you will get 130$ off. Great deal even though they are a little more expensive. I believe this offer ends today.

It might cost them a couple of dollars to get you to accept one of their credit cards.

But in the long run, it will be you that will pay for it.

Cabella's isn't a bad place to shop, and their prices are compeditive with most other places. Especially if you use their card.

I will periodically get a $10 gift card in the mail from them just for being a customer...

And that deal where the more you spend the bigger a gift card you get is the bomb!!!

When I got my reloading setup, It paid for a bunch of supplies...

Travis Bickle will become famous soon enough
Cool Re: Special at Cabela's

I rarely walk in the door unless they are running one of their promo's. I've actually come to like Gander Mountain a little more than Cabelas.

I have always enjoyed Gander simply because they usually have a fair amount of guns in stock. Although the mom and pop shop offer much sweeter deals.

I did get what I thought was a good deal at Gander in 03 on a Winchester 94AE in .357 for $319.00. It was on the clearance rack, and the last one, even though it was a display model its in mint condition.

If I had a Cabelas near by I think I would jump on that deal as well if the had the 22 I've been searching for. Unfortunately the model I want is only available to full line dealers, and the only place I've seen one for sale was on GunBroker.com.

Looks like its soon time for a road trip!

Yeah being a Club Visa Member they are always sending you great coupons, they would really come in handy for buying a gun. Also I think they sent me a $10 gift card for Christmas, no strings attached.

Let's try this again...
The dollar sign ($) comes before the amount...

We're not a bunch of European idiots...so let's try to get it right!
