Default Re: Shoot to kill or stop the threat?

center mass. the head is the worst spot to try and hit.
what with the common head bobbing and weaving consistent with the prototypical perp. add to that the jive shuiffeling of the legs would make it a questionable target at best. the center mass not only contains all the vitals but presents the largest profile to shoot at. empty your clip/cylinder at the largest and best target
and as far as the kill factor i would never think of anything less if i have to draw down on someone.
one more reason to exercise extreme judgement when presented with the circumstance of protecting yourself with deadly force.
in othewords i would not be pulling my gun in a self defence situation unless i did intend to kill someone . my gun is made to kill. could be targets could be inner city /urban youth. kill it will. targets i hope.

I was raised and trained that pointing a weapon is an absolute last resort, but once pointed there's no going back. You made your intentions perfectly clear ... and they were ignored. Neutralize the threat.
