Kids Workshop rocks! Anyway I was just bustin your chops. Have either of you guys fired both the p22 and Mosquito? If so, which do you like better and why? I can't decide if i want to get a can for my AR's, or buy one of those and then a can to interchange between it and my 10/22.

Hey 00,

I own both the Mosquito and the P22 (and a Ruger 10/22 as well). I use the can on all 3. I must say that they are all about the same in regards to how quiet they can be with a can. Startling almost... it's instant wood.

Walther P22 - cycles with just about any ammo I feed it. Love the way it looks, especially with the can on it. Feels small in the hand. With pearson grip it's a bit better.

Mosquito - reports that it can be finicky with ammo but mine has been very good to me but it does start to jam up when it's dirty (can speeds up that process quickly). Size is nice, I think only 10% smaller than it's big brothers. Controls are 1911-like which is nice. Looks GREAT with the can on it due to it's size. I usually shoot CCI minimags through it but have been shooting some remington gold lately. WAYYYY more accurate than the P22.

Ruger 10/22 with can. Well, there's nothing quite like it. Add a buffer and you will hear the action (barely) and then the round hit the target and there's nothing quite like that from behind a rifle. Groundhogs across the globe tremble at the thought of it..

Having mutliple hosts for a can is the way to go in my opinion. Makes the investment a little easier to justify while at the same time justifying buying more stuff for your toys (threaded barrels, etc..).

I'll post some pics of the threesome in a little while. Good stuff.

By the way, I have a gemtech barrel for my mosquito - found it on GB. They are hard to find but allow the can to sit closer to the slide (I like that look).

HTH

One last thing, In my opinion you will get more "enjoyment" out of a .22 can if you're looking for that "movie quiet" kind of suppression. You might already know this but just throwing that out there... you can literally shoot with no ear protection with the .22 , a good can, and subsonic ammo (out of the rifle).

Stack's M11/Lage is the ULTIMATE subgun.

Hey Stack, where is that M16 you've been wanting? Stop nibbling around the fringes and get to business.

Waiting on someone to grow tired of theirs and give me the deal of the century. Otherwise, next year if I am still alive.

LOL, never gonna happen. It's jealousy over all the cool stuff you put together. But there is a financial nuclear triad, and i haven't even introduced you to night vision or thermal yet. I am going to bury you (Khrushchev) but Reagan style with my SDI spending plan

I'll try to get my pics up this week.
