I'm really bummed out not beng able to do archery this year.

Oh, well. Breaking bones can have that affect.

I decided I'm keeping the deer rifle in the closet this year.

I'm flint locking.

Talking Re: Deer seasons here. Post your pics.

I thought I would just leave it in the woods and rot!! Just kidding! It's quartered and in the fridge now. I started deboning the meat yesterday. Most will be cut up into steaks. The backstraps either go in a pan with butter, onions, and garlic or wrapped with bacon and put on the grill.

i saw the biggest deer (while hunting) of my life on sat. morning...he was a huge 8 pt, around a 18 inch inside spread and 12 inch g-2's, just a beast, id guess him to score around 110-120, not record book but still im used to seeing 1 1/2 year old deer, but wasnt able to get him, but ive been hunting a new place and have been seeing several white (mostly white) does, 2 of them are yearling without a mom, and if i get a chance ill slay one and post a pic

I hope to get out with the smoke pole if work schedule permits. I will post pictures of the day. They probably won't include any dead deer....
