Default the AWB thread

I thought it might be worth putting up a thread where we can all post recent questions, comments, information on legislation of AW firearms in congress.

This may take some of the partisanship out of the AWB and help us all understand (1) who is drafting AWB legislation (2) where it sits in the house or senate (3) whom we must contact and what we must do to work the issue.

so i'll start with a link I got from Shawn L. I want to know who drafted and proposed the legislation. if anyone knows how to search draft proposals please post the link (this can work for all laws, not just AWB).

grassroots FTW.
