It's a Kintrek KBP-1. There was only about 1000 made in the early 90's. Very fun little Bull-pup .22.

I did notice the tiny magazine protruding from the buttstock. What's the idea behind having the sight towers so high above the centerline of the bore?

Read up about the design of the M16. Besides, how would you see through them if they were a lower profile considering the position of the buttstock? It's all about the pivot point...

Cool I joined just to post in this thread. Your the first other person I have found with a KBP-1 too. Mine does not have the plastic open sights it has a scope mount and scope. Do you know of a place to by parts or more of these guns? Or did you just get lucky lol? My clip gave out about 5 years ago and I really want to find a new one! I love my KBP it's fun to shoot. If you can help please email me the info I would be in your debt from one gun owner to another.
