I've "brought a gun to court" several times. I don't expect to be arrested if I someday show up at a court facility that is not in compliance with mandated storage requirements.

Yea, we know EMS, it's for the children. You oughta go into politics. Problem is, no one here is advocating that people should be allowed to get hammered up, on the drug of their choice, and go for a drive. The debate is simply about whether or not pot should or shouldn't be legal.

I don't care what people do with their lives and I wouldn't presume to tell them if I was sure they they would stay away from me and my family. Fact is, once certain people get a hold of certain drugs their decision making capabilites go out the window. Only reason I don't see cocaine motivated violence in College out here is because you can't go down to the corner store and buy it...but we have alcohol...

I'm not advocating either side to be honest, because I really don't know...but that is what I think of when I hear the "let everyone have all the drugs they want" argument...thats all...

That's one of the main pitfalls of marijuana legalization.

With alcohol it's easy for "the man" to figure out just how much you have in your system almost intantly. They can't tell how much reefer you've smoked. it could be a hit, or an ounce.
