Maybe he was still shaken up over telling a man in a wheelchair to "stand up." Or, maybe he was trying to pull attention away from Obama's "Pig" comment.

I wonder if she would even do that at this point. Are they allowed to change candidates?

First time I've ever agreed with Joe "Xerox" Biden....

And Pector, it has been done in the past. In 1972, McGovern dumped Thomas Eagleton (it had been revealed that Eagleton had undergone treatment for mental illness in the past, which created a huge scandal at the time,) and had him replaced with Sargent Shriver, one of the Kennedy kin.

Of course, McGovern then went on to lose in a historic landslide.

Cool, thanks for the info. I struggle to recall VPs. Especially on the losing team. ;-)

He is old enough to be Joe "Mimeograph "Biden

and the way he is acting perhaps he has been sniffing the duplicator fluid...

I don't see Hillary or Bill saving Barack. The Obama camp and the Clinton camp hate each other. Right now Barack is the Democratic party leader. If he crashes and burns the Clinton's regain their top place in the Democratic party.
The only way Hillary would take the job is if Barack agreed to the VP slot.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in Bill Clinton's office in Harlem tomorrow for their meeting. You just know Barack is going to beg for help from the Clinton's. Ain't happening after the way he dissed Hillary during the election.
We can't forget that Bill called him a Chicago thug politician.

I think it was Jay Leno last night who said

Obama is having lunch with Bill Clinton tomorrow, its going to be awkward, one of them has a strained relationship with Hillary and the other is the Democrat Nominee for President

After Hillary filed a law suit claiming Obama is not eligible to become president, I can hardly imagine him replacing Biden with her. Maybe Obama's real purpose for snubbing the swing states and heading to California is to meet with Maria Shriver. The poster girl for the left wing. Married to the republican governator who the unions are trying to get recalled, a Kennedy, openly opposes her husband's support for McCain by endorsing Obama, and not half bad looking either. Wouldn't that put a twist in some GOP knickers. Maybe far fetched, but we're talking about politics here, so anything can happen.
