Went to the local courthouse today...carrying...

...as I had the pistol on me when i was out and about on the bike and needed to transfer dog license/registration from Northumberland Co. to Union Co. Walked in, asked the metal detector attendant for a weapons lock box and he pointed dwn the hall to 3 on the wall at the "non-public" entrance. Walked down the hall to the boxes, put my weapon inside, locked it and went about my business. When i was done, I unlocked my weapon, put it back on my person and walked out after thanking the officer on duty. None of this "causing a scene" crap like I read about someone posting here recently(Monroe Co. was it?). Now I remember and relish why i LOVE living here. That is all, carry on!

Any individual checking a firearm, dangerous weapon or an item deemed to be a dangerous weapon at a court facility must be issued a receipt.
