The "web" is not ready for that. It's not secure enough. That's why there are problems with identity theft. Hear much about identity theft news before the web was available?

If a web site were available to list valuables, there will be criminals trying to hack into the system to find where the best loot is!

Thats why there was an option discussed earlier in this thread about potentially making it available for people to install on their home computers. If he takes that rout, I'll be installing xampp on one of my other computers here, documenting the install with screenshots, and then installing his software, also fully documenting, and posting a "how-to" page for it.

Xampp is a trimmed down version of the apache webserver with mysql and php installed via a single package and was put together with software such as this in mind.

There are a lot of people here with much more experience than I have so I thought I'd ask for help. BTW ... I do not plan on making this a commercial product. Actually, I was thinking about making it free for everyone to use if I can get "satisfied" with it.
You got any updates on this for us?

I actually got most of the basic functionality done. I'm waiting on a friend that is helping with the layout design. I can pretty much build anything but making it look nice is where I need help. I'm hoping that he can get me something to go off of shortly. If not, I might have to try my hand at it.

Whether its done for you, or you do it yourself, a good start is to grab a piece of printer paper and draw the pc screen on it to get the layout set before you start pretty-ing it up.
