You can't leave me hanging like that- at least give me some bait on what the new toy will be!

When I changed my address, I got a change of address card in the mail to be kept with my license until I have to renew my license...

I also had to present this, with the change of address card to the sheriff's office when I applied for my LTCF. I've always bought my guns when I lived at my Mom's house.

hope all works out well!

Sorry,

I’m getting a hp 995 carbine... Like I said a toy.

I've talked to a few people that have them and they said they were fun to shoot so I’ve been looking around for a good price. I found one, and I also got a $200 bonus from work that the wife said I can go blow on something without getting into trouble =P

I'm also getting a hp C9, but theres an odd reason for this one... I have been doing carpentry for a very long time and i have had several people give me money up front to craft wooden grips for thier C9's. The first couple sets cover the cost of the gun (sad, isn't it?)

And on a sadder note, I just got back from the DMV, and the line was unbelievable. I ran out of time and had to leave, never even made it to the counter. must have been 150 people in that little room...

Dose anyone know if I can use my ltcf as my state issued photo ID, or must it be a Drivers License?

*EDIT*

I did a search and saw in previous posts that a LTCF should work, but chances are it may not work. All i am using it for is my address. I can still present my DL, it's just not going to have the right address on it, even though my legal address on file with the DMV is my current one. The address on my LTCF is also my current address.

What do you guys (or gals) think?

Just in case anyone is interested...

I got a hold of the shop I am going to was told that a DL makes the background check easier, but is not required.

They require a government photo ID with the correct address. If it has the wrong address a second ID with the correct address, issued by the government (but not necessarily a photo ID) would be required.

SO in my case I have my DL with the wrong address, and was told to either bring a vehicle owners card, or, if I have it, a LTCF and there will be no problems. =)
