florida permit

hello people i have a question to ask i just took the class for the florida permit and now i am trying to get fingerprinted with no luck i went to serveral police dist. and was told the olny do it for other cops and the dont ink print anymore. i also went to the state police barracks and was told the same thing. can anyone help?

PPD will not fingerprint you. Don't even bother trying. You need to go to a suburban PD that does it. I went to Horsham PD, back when I used to work in that area. Other suburban PDs do, as well.

Agree on the suburbs thing.

You usually have to make an advanced appointment, and they only do it very restricted hours each week.

I work in Horsham and that's where I went to get printed. I believe it was a $5 charge and it took like 5 minutes. I just called ahead and set up an appointment.

ok thanks ill call on friday. also i was on my way to work today i i got caught up in that shoot out on north broad st today. it was crazy.

thanks for the info but they told me i have to work or be a resident in horsham to get finger printed there.

I went to the State Police barracks in Lima, Pa.

Call before you go, there is only certain day(s) and a time frame within the day(s) that they can do it.
