Default Re: What happens if a Sheriff not of my county grants me a LTCF?

Back in the wild, wooly "may issue" days, of which most of you are blissfully unaware, I actually had a permit in the adjoining county, in which I had a business, rather than the one in which I resided. I suppose we were all blissfully unaware of the provisions of the law, if they were in force at that point, but I never had anyone say boo to me about it.

In fact, I even carried a NJ DL for a while that sported a PA address, and before that, a letter from the secretary of the Director of NJDMV, in lieu of a license, that I was to show anyone who stopped me while operating a motor vehicle. That's another story entirely, but it just goes to show that paperwork sometimes is a matter more of who you get to know or where your connections are than what's stipulated in P.C.S. or ny other compendium of legislated laws.
