Gun show's this weekend, might go get me an AK...or 3

We'd still have the opportunity to attack it in the Senate and that is the one place where we would definitely be able to kill it. They are very pro-2A and pro Sect. 21 there.

Man i would hate to have to move to Vermont cuz some Liberal thinks he knows whats good for me and doesnt want me to decide for myself and live with my own decissions god i must be an idiot i cant think for my self. after 33 years of this mindless, decission making its all clear to me now heres an idea maby we should not vote for the mayor anymore and maybe we should get off our ass's and make our voices heard sounds weird i know. but it might work.

Dont be so quick to move to vermont. This is not passed yet. I moved here from NY about 3.5 years ago and I am not thrilled about the NY type gun laws taking root here.

My real concern is that people would panic and say "move" or give up on this state. We are far from an anti gun state and far from a liberals paradise. We do have many liberals here from NY/NJ and philthadelphia. I don't think it is time to jump ship. write your reps. leave a phone message ect.

Just some more food for thought. Vermont is a very liberal place. I am shocked they have such good gun laws. I could not live with liberals even if the gun laws were good. This to me is more then guns. I like the America the founders gave us. Not the New America. Liberalism is a cancer. The other thing is you have 2 more years of dem control in the US congress and maybe another 4 years with an anti pres. Even the rep canidates who look like the possible nominee are anti 2A. So this could very well go Nation wide. Dont run so quick cause you might find the very thing you are running from.

Good Morning Robert
Thanks for contacting me about the gun control laws being consider(sic) in the house of Representatives.
I am not a representative who believes in gun control or that it will reduce crime. If you look at my record I have voted for measures that focus on getting criminals off the street and not taking guns away from law bidding citizens.
Thanks again and please stay in touch.

STEPHEN E. BARRAR
PA. STATE REPRESENTATIVE
160th LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT
Spent all that time putting a letter together for nothin.

Couldn't agree more. If we all pack up, move, and run away from the problem, nothing gets solved. And as Lougotzz said, you'll likely find yourself running away from one problem and right into a similar problem in another state.

The only way to protect our rights is to fight for them and mount a defense with the people in the State Assembly who support the Constitution.

No it wasn't for nothin!!

The more people they hear from the better, it either backs them up when voting or makes them think how they will vote, but it's never for nothin...

Sure would be nice if all the politicians were as short and to the point as Mr. Barrar. It would also be a good thing to identify more legislators (House and Senate) with the same outlook.

I think the most pro-gun folks, even more so than pro-gun Pennsylvanian folks are them "refugees" from NJ/NY/CT/MA (and soon RI)......but the job is moving out of them states quickly and people are moving down this way because of high taxes, high cost of doing biz and over regulation (take CT for example). With the jobs leaving them states, the anti-gun crowd leave those states as well. And where they go?, right smack in PA!

I agree, leaving a problem does not make it go away. General concensus is problem will gloom large if people dont take care of it.
