Can someone please post the house judiciary committee. I can't find it because they say it is not assigned yet.

I will try to follow up with letters to the offices of these senators and reps.

Phone calls will help as well. Anyone know when they will vote on these bills?

I have sent out a lot of e-mails. I am getting some replies. Who ever replies seems to agree. I have not had all reply. I would call and keep up the pressure. make sure when you write these e-mails and letters you sound intelligent. Use spell check and dictionary. State facts and be polite. short and to the point. Dont go off on tangents and done talk about taxes/guns/ect/ect. One subject per letter. The letters I wrote to the republicans- I stated gun control is not a conservative agenda. I expect the republicans to keep to a conservative agenda or I am not voting in the next election. Basicly saying if I want a liberal I will vote for one. They are responsive to that. They know the RINO republicans are what screwed them. Good luck.

Why is it that we are hearing so very little about this bill?

Thanks for the committe link. What I really want to know is what is the likelyhood of it even passing committee?
Anybody know how the members stand on the issue even based on past voting?
I just feel so dis-organised trying to research this.

I tried ProjectVoteSmarthttp://www.vote-smart.org/issue_rati...an_id=BS028173
to get a general flavor of NRA ratings..but no specifics

Im not up on PA politics, It was never a subject that interested me much and seeing I can only vote in local elections it affects me little.

But it seems to me there are more people listed in the ProjectVoteSmarthttp://www.vote-smart.org/issue_rati...an_id=BS028173 that I saw..
The sheet I made comes up to 166 people, I would post it here but it is long and also does not keep its format. so for those interested, there is a .txt file attached.

My total comes out to (not counting + - but only letters) 166

A=116 B=12 C=7 D=15 E=0 F=16

I used this page to get the names and their status http://www.vote-smart.org/issue_rati...sig_id=004590M

Frenchy...I was only researching the Judiciary Committee since it needs to pass there first ;-)
But there are many who received an "A" rating from NRA...BUT if they are deceitful like BobCasey...we may be up the river

Hi Folks,

Just Saw Mr. Frankel and others speak on T.V. and they are hell bent on pushing their agenda. THe funniest part is once again how they play with their Bogus Statistic's...according to them 77% of you want their gun control measures.....Course now this is based on the 600 people THEY CALLED ;-) Hmmm so let's see. if I call 600 people in really bad area's of Philly and Reading knowing they want something done , probably never owned a firearm (at least legally :-) I'm sure I can get the answer i'd want and claim it represents the state as a whole? ..Maybe we can call 600 NRA members throughout the state to counter that way we can we drop that percentage? :-)
Since many Urban politicians seem to have a hard time actually getting tough on Criminals instead of Giving them social programs and excusing lack of personal responsibility for their actions their solution is to pretty much disarm everyone and letting revolving door Justice Prevail.
It is truly wonderful to see clowns like Mr, Frankel Gallantly stepped forward and laid blame on assault weapons and that our Law Enforcement men and woman need this legislation, at least he can claim in his next campaign slogan he's tough on crime....Well sorry Mr. Frankel as a retired Law Enforcement officer I can tell you my former Chief never spoke for me...he spoke for the Mayor he served and liked his job ;-) He towed the party line. Although no one in law enforcement ever looks forward to being faced with any weapon Assault Rifles were by far the least likely. It's seeing a cop killer actually Fry for the crime instead of Living for years in a cushy flat as appeals drag on from legal bleeding hearts that's the biggest threat. An assault weapons Ban is about as effective as putting band aid on a heart attack and given Govt's track record of protecting the public in large scale emergencie's be it the L.A. Riot's , Hurricane Katrina or some future event/WMD Jericho series style catastrophe perhaps brought about by some of the 80,000 Illegal Alien Criminal felon's the Government gives Sanctuary to and allows to run around ...I say No thanks I'd rather protect my own!
I urge everyone who can to attend and speak their piece in their area: http://www.nraila.org/Legislation/Read.aspx?id=2692
