Default Re: Is it wrong to only clean with patches?

I use the brush that came with my XD kit, but I throw some oil down the barrel then throw a patch on top of the brush and just run them through until it's clean like someone mentioned.

I like a combo of patches and boresnakes. I always worry about the rod at the center of the brush hitting the side, not a problem with a boresnake.
