VFW SHOOT?

my father and i used to go to turkey shoots at the vfw they have an outdoor rifle shotgun range was wondering if anyone knew if they allowed pistols to be shot on their ranges i guess i could call and ask. i would ask my father but he is mentaly disabled do any of you know?
