    Thumbs up Dad's Passing

My dad's name was Ken Gordon. He died last Friday morning sometime before 8:00 AM. Dad was a strong 2A supporter. I'm very thankful that I told him I've taken up learning to shoot. He wanted to go to the range with me but we never got there. I've fired a few 9mm pistols at the range so this weekend, I'm gonna be a big girl and try shooting his Glock 19. He was a Navy vet and 82 years old. He's home now resting with Jesus.

Many thanks to all the veterans on this site who have sacrificed so much for America. I support all of you and keep you in my prayers.

    Carry on,
    Champagne Lady

Way too early to die. I too lost my dad many years ago. Every time I look at his A-5, I see him. There is something about guns that leaves an indelible image of who owned it. I have since bought many other guns but none move me the same way.

The sorrow can be painful. The good memories and honoring thoughts will overcome the grief. It takes time, but it will come. Sorry for your losing your dad.

Naw, he's not resting. He's up there having a grand old time. He's got a new body that is perfect, and he and Jesus are probably at the Range every day.
My family will keep yours in our prayers as you grieve.

I pray you and your family strength during this difficult time.

As has been stated, he is up where the Lord has blessed him with a new healthy and wonderful body and he is where he will never feel grief or pain again.

    Enjoy your fathers G19.

I bet that would have been his desires anyway.

Every time you look at that G19 remember the good times you had with your father.

    God bless!!
