Default AR15 Bolt Carrier Gas Key

Long story short my gas key came loose and now I need to restake it.

    Two quesitons:

    1. Do I need to replace the gas key itself and bolts or can I reuse the old hardware?

    2. The bolt carrier is from bushmaster, so is there loctite already on the threads? If so, do I need to remove the old loctite and how?

id have no prob reusing it, but if it makes you feel unsafe, by all means, change it.

dont know if bushmaster used loctite or not, but it would not be a bad idea to throw some on. most types of loctite can be loosened with a litle heat.
