Default Buying a handgun while visiting Florida

I'll be driving down to Florida on spring break and know some a dealer down there. If I happened to buy a handgun from him face to face, it is legal to drive back to PA with it, or do I need to have it shipped?

Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure it is highly illegal to purchase a weapon and bring it across state lines. Especially if you are not a resident of the state where you purchased your weapon from.

I'd say you have to have it shipped.

Have that person ship it to your prefered local FFL in PA.

Interstate handgun transfers are illegal. Must use an FFL to transfer it to you in PA.
